Living our best life does not always mean jet-setting off to one of the far-reaching corners of the earth. Nor does it require an immense amount of money to live a life we are proud of or a life without regrets. This means we need to take control of our lives and execute the God given plan that has been laid out for us. Our lives are often controlled by external events trying to steer our lives in a trajectory we are not mean to follow.
Think about it “why are so many of us willing to accept our current circumstances, but yearn for it to be better?” Many of us are not living in our truth. To live in our truth, we need to be visceral, honest, and defenseless. You see, we must open ourselves up to those around us (we trust) and be free to express your emotions. Those freed emotions will help us to begin our journey of opening up ourselves, but we must put in the work.
If we think about what we love to do, it often does not feel like work, yet we are ultimately sharing a part of ourselves that we love to the world. When we are living in our truth and feel comfortable within our own skin there is no longer a need for us to hide behind a mask and pretend to be something we are not. The mask we wear does not keep the world from harming us, however, it does keep us from living our best life.
As soon as we remove our masks, we will feel a big sigh of relief. It is then, when we begin to see ourselves, we soon find that our happiness comes from within. Once we begin to feel better about ourselves, we begin to approach life differently. We will also notice; when we change the way, we view the world we will begin to attract those in our lives who will be a part of our journey.
Our power truly resides inside ourselves and when we change the way we view the world the world changes. We must change how we relate to the world in order to be happy. Trusting our hearts to lead the way is essential.
I am a mother of three and wife, however, living my truth pushes me to greater depths which allows me to pursue my purpose in life.
Are you living your best life? Living your best life should not happen when you decide to retire, it should happen throughout your life organically. Living in your truth is not always easy, especially when we live in a society that is critical of your financial and social status. We have tons of television shows that glorify wealth, luxury, and social status. Our status is often displayed on social media where some people often exhibit a false sense of themselves and their lives.
Let’s be honest and live in our truth, so we may live our best lives. What path will you take?
