Day 1 | Jan 11| Bienvenidos to Costa Rica!
Your local host will greet you at the Liberia airport, assist you with your luggage, and provide you with group* transfer to Tamarindo Beach for a three-night stay in family pool accommodations with full breakfast and taxes included. Check-in is available after 2:00 PM. Balance of the day is at leisure enjoying the facilities of the hotel.
*If individual transfers are required a surcharge will apply.

Day 4| Jan 14| From the beach to the Rainforest of the Highlands at the Arenal Volcano Park area| B. & D.
Scenic guided drive through the lowlands of the Pacific Northwest and the Tilaran Mountain Range, home to the Arenal Volcano Park and the adventure region of Costa Rica. Check-in at the Magic Mountain Hotel for a four-night stay in volcano view rooms with full breakfast included. In the late afternoon / early evening, you will be provided with round trip transfers to the beautiful Tabacon Hot Springs and Thermal Pools for a soothing swim bad a great buffet dinner.
Tabacon Hot Springs and Spa, the only hot springs in the Arenal Volcano area that is completely natural. Days 5 | Jan 15| Nature Cruise on the Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge | B. L.
The Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge and the Rio Frio are biological humid areas considered to be one of the richest in biological diversity in Costa Rica. Here you can find a great variety of resident and migratory birds. Your floating safari will take you through tropical rain forest, pastures, and marsh, where you can see howler monkeys, spider monkeys, white-faced monkeys, the three-toed sloth, reptiles like caimans, the Jesus Christ lizard, turtles, and an almost endless selection or birds. Breakfast at the hotel. At the appropriate time, meet your local guide to begin your tour to this beautiful region of Costa Rica. You will travel north to Los Chiles, a rustic village just three kilometers from the Nicaraguan border. Then we begin the guided cruise adventure. On your water ride to the wetlands, you will see many bird and animal species. Around noon we will stop along the river for a typical Costa Rican lunch before heading back to Los Chiles to take the bus back to Arenal.

Days 6 | Jan 16| ATV Countryside Adventure Tour | B. L.
Breakfast at the hotel. At the appropriate time, meet your driver for a transfer to the ATV locale. First all will become familiar with the Honda ATV’s while the professional bilingual guides give you safety & security instructions, followed by an intense practice. Savor the powerful presence of the Volcano as you visit the beautiful La Fortuna Waterfall look-out point and ride through exotic tropical plantations. Continue your quest by cooling off in natural, crystal-clear waters at the famous “El Salto” River and Tarzan Swing and cascades all year round. Enjoy a filling local meal at the Arenal Vida Campesina, finish your tour driving on scenic trails and visit typical villages like La Guaria and Platanillo. Days 7 | Jan 17| Zip Line and Horseback Riding Adventure at the Go Adventure Park | B. L.
The Go Adventure Park at Montana de Fuego private forest reserve provides an awesome full day of activities. Imagine tubing a jungle river or going horseback riding to the base of giant Arenal Volcano! Add to that ziplining through the jungle and soaking in thermal hot springs! Your Adventure includes the choice of tubing or horseback riding plus ziplining and hot springs for a fun filled day of epic adventures. Your adventure takes place inside a primary and secondary forest, giving you the opportunity to enjoy excellent panoramic views of Arenal Volcano canyon and the rain forest. It is ideal for families as the adventures are recommended for both adults and children. During the journey, specialized nature guides will give you important information about the different species of animals and vegetation found along the way. The day begins with a transfer from your hotel, when you arrive, you will decide if you are going to go horseback riding to the volcano or tubing down the Rio Arenal. Once that decision is made, you will know your schedule for other included activities like Canopy Ziplining, Rappelling, and meeting the original descendants of the area on the Maleku Indigenous Experience, you can also relax in the resort’s thermal Hot Springs. During the day, lunch will be provided. The ziplining adventure is performed between a total of 13 platforms on 9 cables near the Rio Arenal. After flying high through the rainforest, it will be time to descend and what better way to do it than rappelling 50 meters down a riverbank! After the zipline be ready to continue your adventure on a horseback!
Healthy and well-trained horses, are your companions and transportation for this this incredible guided adventure crossing rivers and through the trails in the rain forest, enjoying all the views of the San Carlos plains and the amazing lava paths of the majestic Arenal Volcano. A local Indigenous native encounter can be enjoyed at Go Adventure Park. The Maleku Indians were the original inhabitants of the Arenal Volcano area. Although their numbers have greatly diminished, they have kept their traditions alive and strong. DAY 1 OVERNIGHT: NAIROBI SERENA HOTEL
You will be met upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by an Acacia Holidays representative who will transfer you and your luggage to the Nairobi Serena Hotel. Our representative will assist you with check-in formalities, so you can relax and recharge after your journey. Overnight at Nairobi Serena Hotel.

DAY 2: ABERDARES NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, a two-hour drive brings you to The Ark. Set in the heart of the Aberdare National Park, iconic and yes, quirky. The Ark overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of awesome wildlife. Resembling and named after Noah’s Ark, The Ark comprises of three decks from which numerous balconies and lounges provide a superb location for wildlife to be seen.
Picturesque, steep forested ravines and open moorland characterize the Aberdares National Park. The park provides a habitat for elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalos, warthogs and bushbucks among others. Rare sightings include those of the Giant Forest hog, bongo, golden cat, serval cat, African wild cat, African civet cat and the blue duiker. Visitors can indulge in picnics, trout fishing in the rivers and camping in the moorlands. Bird viewing is rewarding, with over 250 species of birds in the park, including the Jackson’s Francolin, Sparrow hawks, goshawks, eagles, sunbirds and plovers.

DAY 3: SWEETWATERS & OL PEJETA
After breakfast this morning, we drive to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a private game sanctuary situated on the Laikipia Plains near Mount Kenya, arriving in time for lunch at the Sweetwaters Tented Camp. Built on the grounds of a colonial-era farm inside the conservancy itself, Sweetwaters is the perfect base for exploring Ol Pejeta. After settling into your accommodations, set out into the bush for your first game-viewing drive. Later this afternoon, you will tour Sweetwater’s Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only facility of its kind in Kenya. Upon your return to camp, you can relax on your private verandah overlooking the camp’s water hole, take a dip in the pool, or catalog the day’s haul of wildlife photographs. After dinner, relax by the fire or retire to the wonderful ambiance of your tent. The camp’s luxurious tents all feature comfortable beds, electricity, hot/cold running water, and full in-suite bathroom with shower. Overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp.

DAY 4: SWEETWATERS & OL PEJETA
Enjoy the entire day at leisure in Sweetwaters with morning and afternoon game drives through the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Boasting an incredible density of wildlife within its borders, the conservancy is also home to a host of endangered species. Ol Pejeta is especially known for its populations of black and endangered northern white rhinoceros. We return to camp for dinner and another pleasant evening. All meals are included with overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp.

DAY 5: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
This morning, you may find yourself awakened by the trumpeting of elephants who have come for their morning visit to the water hole. After breakfast, we drive to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park, returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Among its wide variety of wildlife, Lake Nakuru is especially famous for its vast flocks of flamingoes. In some months, these birds are so abundant that they seem to form a pink band along the lakeshore. Other notable inhabitants of the park include giraffe, buffalo, waterbuck, lion, and rhinoceros.

DAY 6: MAASAI MARA
Setting out again after breakfast, we drive across the Great Rift Valley to the Maasai Mara, arriving in time for lunch at Mara Serena Safari Lodge. Set high on a hilltop above the Mara, the lodge is blessed with sweeping views of the savannah below. In the distance you can see the meandering coils of the hippo-filled Mara river. The Maasai Mara Game Reserve is widely considered to be one of Africa’s greatest reserves, where the Maasai community co-exists in harmony with the local fauna. The co-existence of man and wildlife makes this one of the world’s most unique wilderness regions. The Mara is home to a breathtaking array of life. The vast grasslands are teeming with herds of zebra, giraffe, gazelle, and topi. The acacia forests abound with monkeys and bird life. Elephants and buffalo wallow in the wide Musiara Swamp while the Mara and Talek rivers brim with hippos and crocodiles. From July through October, the Mara plays host to one of the greatest spectacles on the planet as millions of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle and topi head north from Tanzania into Kenya. Those fortunate enough to witness The Great Migration are treated to spectacular viewing and photographic opportunities. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in this natural paradise, returning to the lodge for dinner, relaxation around the fire pit, and overnight.

DAY 7: MAASAI MARA
Enjoy the entire day exploring the splendors of the Mara with morning and afternoon game-viewing drives, returning to the lodge for lunch and dinner. Overnight again tonight at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge.

DAY 8: RETURN TO NAIROBI & FAREWELL
We hit the road once again after breakfast for our drive back to Nairobi. Arrive in the afternoon where you will be transferred to the Carnivore Restaurant for a farewell lunch before heading to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where you embark for home. Sadly, the adventure comes to an end, but the memories are forever.
The Carnivore Restaurant is renowned for its variety of exotic meats and famous “dawa” cocktails. A uniquely Kenyan take on the Brazilian churrascaria, an enormous variety of meat is roasted on huge metal spears over a hot coal fire and carved at your table onto piping hot plates. Fresh salads, unusual side dishes, and assorted sauces accompany beef, pork, lamb, goat, sausages, chicken, ostrich, and occasionally crocodile

Day 1, Saturday: Arrival at Dubai International Airport
Upon arrival, you will be met at Dubai International Airport and transferred by private bus from Dubai International Airport to your hotel. Check in at your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2, Sunday : Khasab Musandam Dhow Cruise

In this Khasab Day Trip from Dubai, you will be picked up at 06:00 A.M to Khasab. 3 hours driving via Ras Al Khaimah to Musandam, along the panoramic coastal road. You will be met and assisted on both borders. Full-day Dhow cruises to the spectacular. At midday, you will be anchored at Telegraph Island, which is the famous location where the British laid an underwater cable in 1864 from India to Basra, for onward communication to London. Lunch and unlimited refreshments (tea, coffee, soft drinks, mineral water) are served on board; there is also a possibility of seeing dolphins along the cruise.
