Many of us travelers are looking for a bargain when booking our airlines tickets. Often, this means purchasing a coach or economy airline ticket. Most of the seating on an airplane is in the coach section with less space allocated for business and first-class travelers. The main benefit of flying coach is the price of the ticket compared to first-class. In economy, the rows tend to be space closer together, the seats have limited recline, and the seats are smaller. Flying coach be uncomfortable for those who are larger or taller than average and may benefit from sitting in business or first-class. The cost of purchasing a business class or first-class airline ticket can be hard on your wallet, however, there are other ways to get into the class you want.

For as little as $49 per year, you may become a member of Scott’s Cheap Flights and take advantage of special premium only deals, mistake fares and rare deals, and peak season and holiday flights.

How does it work?

  • Determine which US airports you want to receive deals from.
  • Scott’s Cheap Flights will email you whenever there is an amazing deal from the airport(s) you set an alert for.
  • Deal alerts include a booking link, price details, and an estimate of how long the deal might last.

For those who want to experience Business Class, being a member of Scott’s Cheap Flights can make that a reality. At times, Scott’s Cheap Flights will post a business class fare as good deals and mistake fares. For example, a mistake fare was posted for $600 from Boston to Madrid, Spain and Stockholm, Sweden on TAP Airlines. This is one of the many deals you may partake of as a member.

Being loyal to an airline can land you some great benefits. One of those being the ability to upgrade your flight with loyalty miles or through your medallion status. Typically, you can accumulate loyalty miles through using your credit card when purchasing items. Depending on the credit card you have you may receive multiple loyalty miles for every $1 you spend. There are many other ways to receive an upgrade from being early, being late, dressing up, or going to the counter and politely asking for an upgrade. On your next flight, try one of these tips to be potentially upgraded.
